Double-Cone Blender Lab:The Lab Double Cone Blender is a practical and efficient instrument for uniformly mixing dry powders and grains. Along with the SS 304 and SS 316 contact components, the double cone blender is available in both standard cGMP and customized variants. Consistent mixing and easy discharge are made possible by the twin cone blender machine’s conical ends. The optimal range of homogeneity for the effective volume is between 35-70% of the gross volume. Among other things, it can be used on food, chemicals, cosmetics, and medications.
Important features include: • conical shapes at both ends for simple discharge and uniform mixing; • PLC-controlled, fully automatic load and discharge operation.
• The butterfly discharge valve is clamped to the blender outlet for quick disassembly and has a quick release design for ease of cleaning and maintenance. • An appropriate-size butterfly valve at one end of the cone is provided for material discharge, and a hole with an openable cover is provided at the other end of the cone for material charging & cleaning. The client’s product container can accommodate changes to the valve flange seal.
Shaft-mounted gear motors connected by a shrink disc coupler require less maintenance than regular gear drives. They also come with special PLC programming with safety interlocks to keep operators as safe as possible and a 0 degree discharge position. Using an AC variable frequency, regulate the speed.
Double cone blender operation process: To guarantee adequate mixing, the powder is poured to two-thirds of the blender’s capacity. To guarantee even mixing, the material is constantly transported in a vigorous and complicated way by spinning continuously. Because both ends are conical, discharge is facilitated, and consistent mixing is encouraged. A butterfly valve can be used to release the product from the bowl’s bottom.
